Ben Earb

Distance 15km Ascent 815m OS Map 43

From the Spittal of Glenshee car park (NO110698) we follow the An Lairig track to the high coll. We then climb up on to the Glen Lochsie Ridge, crossing over Creag an Dubh Scluic before our ascent on to Ben Earb. From here we shall carry on over the high ridge, taking in Lairig Charnach and Meall a Choire Bhuidhe before descending quite steeply to the track on the south side of the Glen Lochsie Burn. This track meanders back to our starting point.

Note: This walk has some sections over open moorland, off-path through heather, and a reasonable level of fitness is required.
