Sunday 2nd May – Ben Tirran - Corbett

Distance 9m, 14.5k; Ascent 752m; OS map 44

Ben Tirran is the highest summit (896m) on the large plateau between Glen Esk and the north side of Glen Clova, its finest features being the two corrie lochans, Wharral and Brandy. The walk starts at Wheen, round the top of the craigs overlooking Lock Wharral and then continues on to Green Hill and descends either down the path East of Loch Brandy or continues round to the West side of the Loch and then descends a steep but scenic path to Clova where the walk ends. The area can be viewed on Google Earth.

Meet at Culter Village Hall 8.30am, return around 6pm
