Beinn Iuthern Mhor(1045m) Beinn Iuthern Bheag (953m) (strenuous)

(Transport shared CARS). Please note due to wet conditions a recce of the entire route was not completed; it is our intention to do the route given below.
Intended Distance: 30 km
Ascent: 1000m approx

Please note this a particularly strenuous walk with deep bog and heather on part of the steep ascent /descent and there may be some water crossings due to recent wet conditions. We begin at Inverey 089893 and walk up the landrover track up to Altenour.we then cross a small bridge and continue over rough heather and bog to the foot of Beinn Iuthern Mhor, from here we pick up a steep narrow path which takes us into the scree covered top and then onwards round to the summit ridge (045793). Our intentions from this point are to head SSE to Mam nan Carn and from there NE to Beinn Iuthern Bheag.We descend down the shoulder following the burn back to Altenour and then return back to Inverey on landrover tack.

Walkers must wear walking boots, warm and waterproof clothing, hat and gloves and take plenty food and liquids. THESE ARE ESSENTIAL. Be prepared for possible wintry conditions.
