The Buck

Ascent 721m distance 6m 10km
OS sheet 37

We start at the B9002 (422252) and follow the fence to the summit (412234) as there is no path. This area is very boggy more so now with the recent snow. We continue to follow the fence to Kebbuck Knowe, where we go in a SE direction to connect with the path at 427219. Descend down the Green Brow to Braeside Woods, through the woods to the pick-up point at 452214 on the track to Mid-Clova.

Walkers must wear walking boots, carry warm and waterproof clothing, hat and gloves and take plenty food and liquids. THESE ARE ESSENTIAL. Be prepared for possible wintry conditions on the top whatever the forecast.
